ABC'S OF SALVATION

ADMIT:  Admit that you are a sinner, and in need of salvation from sin.  All persons need salvation.  Each of us has a problem the Bible calls sin.  Sin is a refusal to acknowledge God's authority over our lives.  Romans 3:10 - Since none of us is perfect, all of us are sinners.  Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."  Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death."

BELIEVE:  Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is the only way to obtain salvation - to get to heaven.  Although we have done nothing to deserve His love and salvation, God wants to save us.  John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  John 14:6 - "Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."

CONFESS:  Confess your sin and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to others.  1 John 1:9 - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us all unrighteousness."   Romans 10:9 & 10 - "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

PLEASE PRAY:  Lord Jesus, I am a sinner.  But I believe that you died upon the cross for me.  That you shed your precious blood for the forgiveness of my sin.  And I believe that on the third day, you were raised from the dead, and went to Heaven to prepare a place for me.  I accept you now as my Savior, my Lord, my God, my friend.  Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and set me free from my sin.  And, because you are my Savior, Jesus, "I shall not die, but have everlasting life."  Thank you Jesus!

If you prayed the Sinner's Pray, please contact us or a church of your choice.
